Presidents Message for 2012 Season:

Greetings Ball Players and Parents;

I am very pleased to announce a New Executive Committee for the 2012 Wasaga Beach Minor Baseball Season.  There are some new faces as well as some familiar ones to all of you. Amongst others on the committee, Laura Collins and Georgina Adamec will be in charge of registration for this season. We are looking to take our lessons from previous season's and ensure that 2012 is the best experience possible for our players. I, myself, would appreciate any feedback from the local parents, be it positive or negative. We are looking to build upon the past, and have a Minor Baseball Program that the resident's of Wasaga Beach can be proud of.

The message we want to send to our players, is the same as the one I try and instill in my T-ball players. Fun and enjoyment of the game is priority #1. Having our boys and girls want to play, and look forward to playing baseball, while learning the skills necessary to excel both as a player and as a person is our end goal. Although we do have some coaches and assistant coaches returning from last year, we are always on the lookout for more. Not just in the coaching department, but we always need volunteers to assist with scorekeeping and advertising with the local media. Anyone interested in helping in any division should contact me directly on the # provided.

Having said that, there are new procedures in place for police backround checks, as of this year. So all interested coaches and volunteers, will need to contact us for further instruction as soon as it's possible.

Although the weather seems dreary right now, the baseball season is around the corner. Our first practices will begin in less than 3 months. Having said that, our first registration night will be Tues.Feb.28th at the RecPlex from 5-9 p.m. We will be having a few different registration nights leading up to the start of the season. But, we would love to see all of you as early as possible to really get the ball rolling. Especially those who plan on coaching or volunteering. We would like to get all of you caught up to where we are a.s.a.p.
